Reasoning for choice of model kit/Reasoning for overall design

Overall, to me I think my love of Gundam helped push me towards deciding to make one finally after all these years of arguing with myself.

In tangent with that, I chose one from my favourite show and decided to push myself with its creation, going full steam into painting the details, adding colour and panel lining as well as trying to sand it down to the own custom stylized parts.

I also know friends who have been in competitions for their work and that really pushed me, I got some help from them to get the right tools and the right paints needed for the project so I kept to mostly on brand things as shown in the pictures below.

If you want to see their most recent work here:

I've always been fairly active in the community as I grew up with Gundam in my life from my young teenage years onwards, all my friends would come over and we'd often talk about the shows. We still do that but I've never taken the dive into creating something until this class.

I also think surprisingly a lot of things can be learned from working with such small pieces of plastic and paint. I'm excited to show off the finished project, or at least partially finished.
